Enroll/Cost

All registered international students on non-immigrant visas enrolled in one (1) or more credit hours are required to purchase the Student Health Insurance plan, and are automatically enrolled in the plan, unless evidence of The Texas Tech University System 2024-2025 Page 5 Proprietary coverage is provided that meets the Texas Tech University international student requirements. Athletes can add sports coverage for an additional premium.

Continuation coverage is available for students who no longer meet eligibility. Student must be enrolled previous semester to be eligible. All students and their dependent(s) can purchase three (3) months of additional medical coverage. (Dental is not available.) Continuation must be purchased within thirty one (31) days of the current coverage termination date.
