Am I Eligible to Enroll in the Student Health Insurance Plan?

All registered international students on non-immigrant visas enrolled in one (1) or more credit hours are required to purchase the Student Health Insurance plan, and are automatically enrolled in the plan, unless evidence of The Texas Tech University System 2020-2021 Page 5 Proprietary coverage is provided that meets the Texas Tech University international student requirements. Athletes can add sports coverage for an additional premium.

International Students

Students will be enrolled in The Student Health Insurance Plan via a list provided by TTU and the insurance premium will be charged to your student account. Once your coverage has been added you can click the button below to add a Dependent to your Student Health Insurance Plan. Dependent premium is paid directly to AHP.

Important Information About Dependent Enrollment Verification

Continuation Insurance

Continuation of Coverage is only available to Insured Students and covered Dependents who have graduated or are no longer eligible for coverage under the TTU Student Health Insurance Plan. Covered students must have been insured for at least three (3) continuous months before coverage terminated under the Prior and/or Current Plan.
